Anemonefish – Philippines

Here are some of our favourite photos of anemonefish from the recent Phillippines trip.  We saw more clown anemonefish here than we see diving on the Great Barrier Reef.  This gave us plenty of opportunities to try and get a variety 0f  good photos.  Anemonefish are not easy to photograph, they just won’t stay still.  🙂 And they can bit if you get too close.

We saw more than clowns

Great pictures, what equipment do you use? Particularly lighting, as they’re really evenly lit. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I relied mainly on ambient light and my camera flash ans Most of the shots were taken in clear shallow water, between 3 and 10 metres. Unfortunately, I took my new strobes with me, but couldn’t use them because the fibre optic attachment to the camera didn’t work.
