Catherine Hill Bay

While visiting in Newcastle, we took a drive to Catherine Hill Bay.  We particularly wanted to visit this place as we had read that it was possible to shore dive along the historic coal loading wharf.   As it turned out we didn’t dive this site, but it was definitely worth visiting, it is a very beautiful place with an interesting coal mining history.
