We’ve been at Hat Head for just over a week and it is beautiful. We’ve snorkelled in the creek, hiked along the coast line and scuba dived around Fish Rock and Green Island, we’ve even done a bit of fishing off the beach. We’ve had rain, wind and sunshine, but mostly the weather has been idyllic.
Hat Head National Park
Korogoro Creek at low tide: This is the creek we snorkelled at high tide. There is a boat ramp near the mouth of the creek.
O’Connors Beach: This walk is approximately an 8km walk from it’s beginning at The Gap , past where this photo is taken and back to The Gaph heading along the coast.
View from Korogoro Walking track: It’s a loop track that takes you around the Hat Head headland, and is approximately 4 km long, the scenery is spectacular
Wildflowers on the walking tracks
We found this spectacular gorge on our walk , the noise from the waves led us to it .
