Evans Head

We’ve just spent three days RELAXING (as if !!!) and taking in the sights of Evans Head on our bicycles .  It’s a small town on the northern New South Wales (NSW) coast with a huge caravan park (Silver Sands), apparently it’s the biggest in NSW and it’s very nice.  We didn’t do any fishing or diving here, but it does look like a good place to fish. There’s very little information about diving in this area, but a shore dive in the river or off some of the headlands (weather permiting) may have potential.

Kookaburra: This fellow spent about an hour at the back of our caravan, he had found a cooked chicken carcas in the bushes, and was bring out the pieces to hit on the fence before devouring it.
