The ideal dive conditions stayed with us for the rest of the trip. It’s amazing what you can spot when you are relaxed in the water. Most divers swim straight past these critters.
Decorator Crab: Usually seen on night dives, and hard to spot, they attach various anemones and coral polyps to their exoskeletons.
Cuttlefish: Easy to miss, they change their colour and texture to merge into their surroundings. Once spotted, they usually put on a show.
Cuttlefish: This is the same fish, seconds later.
Common Octopus: One of my favourite critters, always watching. You can easily swim past these critters without seeing them.
I had my torch beam on this next critter for quite some time before I noticed it, and it’s about 30cm across. My red torch light made it quite difficult to spot.
Yo Happy Campers. Glad you’re having fun – I’m having some trouble back in Paradise – Phil’s phone no go ! …. Pls give me a call Stuart 0412404867
