Diving with Grey Nurse Sharks

We spent a few days at Byron Bay, diving around Julian Rocks.  You are guaranteed to see grey nurse sharks this time of year (August) and we wern’t disappointed.  We managed to get nice and close to the sharks (less than 1 metre).  We had about 5-8 meters of visability and the temperature was approx 19 degrees (cold for me).  Here are a few of my photos.

The trenches at Julian Rocks serves as a shark highway. If there are grey nurse sharks about, you are guaranteed to see the here.

and some more, getting nice and close.

They look scarier then they are.
